Koh Laan (Coral Island) is 7.5kms West of Pattaya City. This island covers an area of 5.6sq.km and has 6 popular beaches, which are known for their cleanliness, relaxing atmosphere, soft white sand and crystal-clear water. Besides swimming, various kinds of tourist activities are available such as shooting, banana boat riding, water skiing, water scooter riding, parasailing, scuba diving, snorkeling (Coral viewing) and the like. There are also numerous restaurants and accommodations. To get there, regular ferries from Bali Hai Pier, south Pattaya are daily available, taking 45 minutes and cost 30 Baht each. There are 2 destinations: Na Baan Pier (Eastside of Koh Laan) and Ta Waen Pier (Westside of Koh Laan).

There are also a couple of small islands around Koh Laan where you can go out for scuba diving. On the eastside of Koh Laan is Koh Krok (Krok Islet). Situated 2kms east of Koh Laan, this isolated rocky islet has only one beach stretching 100m. on the East. This is an ideal place for coral viewing. As it is a private island, permission to enter must be obtained beforehand.

Koh Saak (Saak Islet) situates less than 1km north of Koh Laan. This islet is a small horseshoe-shaped island with two interconnected beaches. The northern beach is popular foe swimming and snorkeling, and the southern beach is a good place for coral viewing as well.
